Penn Solutions was recently asked to resolve a problem on a new range of packaging formats for Supreme Petfoods. This new 5kg block pack does not allow for a regular handle punched into the film prior to filling to allow for easy lifting/carrying, making this an ideal bag to sit on a supermarket shelf but difficult to carry.
The solution was easy, attach a self adhesive carry handle to each pack.
After a short demonstration using self adhesive carry handles, Supreme Petfoods become convinced that using this new packaging medium was the correct solution to the problem and immediately placed an order for several thousand handles, since then Penn Solutions has successfully provided over 40,000 handles to Supreme to compliment this new range of products.

Currently these plain carry handles are applied manually but can be automatically applied with a Project Handle Applicator. In addition these handles can also be supplied printed or coloured.
